A graceful hand reaches down
cups falling raindrops
lifts sunken frowns.
Amidst life's gentle rumble,
the earth's silent tremble,
a bird gently flutters,
soaring to Eden.
Carrying with it a silent whisper,
to one Most Graceful,
in dire need of comfort,
a message, a soft cry laced,
embellished with gentle tears.
A sudden gust of wind, an uplifting breeze,
an elated spirit meanders, then glides with ease,
that cooling breath so tranquil,
a much sought soothing answer,
the raging furnace, a heavy heart, it does appease.
Staring upon a new horizon,
Over the once turbulent seas,
Rests a calm, serene reflection,
a delicate, ornate, overarching frieze.
Dense skies displaced, beneath it a heartwarming complexion,
a lukewarm blush, a clear depiction,
of an oft-giving Lord's deep affection,
subtle signs, bearing no imperfection.
